If exposed over long periods of time to the sea and its salty air, the Iron would eventually begin to oxidise. German Army M36 Pioneers Greatcoat

Original German army M36 greatcoat with pioneer shoulder boards and unit stamped 2./Pi.51. Nice early coat produced by Meyer & Römer. Full wool exterior and the typical half lining cotton interior. Some very minor moth nips. Most notably around the bottom of the coat, a few on the higher parts. One rip neatly period repaired on an arm. All buttons present.
