German Army KIA Wehrpass Unteroffizier Karl Bardehle NCO Training School 360 ID

Original German Army Wehrpass issued to Unteroffizier Karl Bardehle B.03.02.1925. Bardehle began his military service in the NCO training school 1.H.U.S. Treptow/ Rega in Pomerania. He began here in April 1942 and completed his training in April 1943. He would then go on to take another six month course of more intense training from April to October. As well as drill, command, field exercises and navigation his extensive time here included familiarity with an array of weapons. He became efficient using the K98K, MG34, Luger P08, Granatwerfer 36 Infantry Mortar, Panzerbuche 39 Anti Tank rifle, Walther P38 and MP40. He was clearly a good candidate with extensive training ready to make the officer ranks. He was deployed on the 29th October 1943 on the Eastern front with Grenadier Regiment 668 as part of the 360th. A mixed of predominantly Eastern European volunteers under the command of German NCOs and officers. Only three weeks later, Bardehle would be killed in combat. His death is noted as the 22nd November 1943. Included with the Wehrpass is his dads army drivers license.
