German Helmet Liner Blood Soaked Size 54cm Dated 1943

Original German late war helmet liner to fit size 54cm head. Leather has dried blood in the back which has stained and darkened. Some damage also to the liner on the draw string, possibly done by the impact of the wound. Liner band in good shape, maker marked and dated. A really nice honest example.
