Original Luftwaffe Pilots Badge an unmarked variant with a good amount of finish remaining. Late war type made of zinc. Frosted oak leaves with two piece eagle and swastika. Pins present on the reverse. Dab of glue under the left wing, possibly a repair? However both pins are still in place. A very nice example that displays well.  read more

His enlistment date was 17th January 1942 and was sent to Stalingrad where he served until his unit was destroyed.
