German Army M42 Helmet Single Decal Found Northern France

Original German army M42 army helmet found in Northern France by a collector local to us approximately 20 years ago. A superb outer shell with virtually all of the paint and decal present. Original silver grade CCC produced by Metal & Kunstoff. Early type 1, hand finished and made of white metal with magnetic back plate. Large crimps with Tombak pin. Heavy silver plating remains present. One small stress crack with a glue repair to the hook. A very nice rare example.  read more
