Where he served as a gefreiter throughout the middle part of the war and later promoted to Sonderfuhrer (speciality unknown) issued wound badge in black after being injured in an air raid August 1944 in northern france and was admitted to a field hospital at Mesnières en-Bray. German Army 2nd Pattern Dagger Alcoso With Hanger

Original German army second pattern dagger manufactured by Alexander Coppel Solingen. Dagger is in good condition with a clean blade. A tiny bend in the tip present. Dagger is engraved Lt.Baums as shown on the photos. The original hanger is present on the scabbard. Scabbard is quite tight on the blade. A nice sleepy dagger.

Original German air defence (Luftshutz) Auer made gasmask with screw filter and carry tin. Mask in very good shape with all accompanying straps. A2B marked mask dated 1937.
