Original American Civil War Model 1840 Artillery Sabre complete with scabbard. Hard to find example of what, at the time, was an incredibly unpopular sword. Superb leather and wire grip all remaining present. Ricasso marked with the makers stamp on side and inspectors mark and date 1862 the other. Blade in good shape. Really nice untouched example.
