Judging by the wear and the impeccable finish, we believe this was another field modification and the grey paint is also period. Minimal wear to the buckle. No makers mark present. Original leaflet as dropped over Cherbourg urging German forces to surrender in 1944. The image features the surrender of Generalleutnant Von Schlieben. The reverse makes numbered reasons for the German soldier to surrender. One rip to the top right corner. Some minor creases.  read more

Original German army Soldbuch issued to Reiter (Driver) Josef Hüber of Radfuhrer. Ersatz. battalion 11 then Panzer Gren. Regt 304 who were attached to the 2nd Panzer division in the battle of the Bulge. Plenty of entries present in the book dating 1943-1944. No awards noted. A repair is present along the spine and the Soldbuch has been issued without ever having a photograph.  read more
