WW2 Italian African Colonial Police Helmet Badge

Original Helmet badge for the Italian African Colonial Police Force. Mainly made of Askari’s, the Italian African Police was set up in 1936 and served all over North Africa until 1943 where they were engaged in the Defence of Rome. The badge is made of brass with an enamel white cross on a field of red. Both rear lugs are missing, however an interesting piece relating to a relatively unknown unit.  read more

Adolf Sholze made Panzer Assault Badge in silver grade. Maker marked with the company logo on the reverse. Pin, hinge and hook are all typical for this maker. Some original finish to the front.
