German Army Fat/Oil Tin For Horse Drawn Artillery Dated 1936

Original German army Fat/Oil Tin for horse drawn artillery units, used for a wide variety of purposes. This tin is good shape. A few dents visible, most notably under the locking latch. This doesn’t affect the closing/ opening of the tin. Tin has four fixings to feed a strap on and secure it to a load. A very faint makers mark is present with a clear 1936 date. A nice rare piece.  read more

Three photos belonging to a mobilised artillery crewman noticeable due to his light grey uniform. Whilst similar to the panzer uniform the main difference of these uniforms was its colour and red piping. Mobilised artillery units drove tracked vehicles like that of the StuG, Jagdpanthers and Jagdpanzers. These were turretless “Tanks” were fitted with built in guns on tank chassis.
