Original German army M36 greatcoat with pioneer shoulder boards and unit stamped 2./Pi.51. Nice early coat produced by Meyer & Römer. Full wool exterior and the typical half lining cotton interior. Post war Germany saw incredibly short supplies of all metals and many metals immediately saw new purposes, most notably helmets became strainers, shovels, plant pots and buckets.
