German Army Gebirgsjäger M43 Field Cap

Original WW2 German army mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger) M43 field cap complete with original hand sewn trapezoid insignia and edelweiss badge. Cap features a two buttoned front with a stiff card peak. Cap is in excellent condition with just the one moth nip spotted on the underside of the peak. The cap has a heavy cotton liner which is notably heavily worn with sweat marks with a hand sewn leather sweatband added by its original owner. A truly beautiful untouched cap.
