Defence of Cherbourg Surrender Leaflet

Original British produced surrender leaflet as would have been flown over the Cherbourg defence in 1944. These leaflets were distributed in their thousands out of airplanes to encourage the German defenders to surrender. This is an original example of one of those leaflets which would have been dropped. The leaflet is in good condition with a single crease down the centre where it was once folded. In pen along the side of the leaflet is written (a location) August, 1944. Included in this sale is a hand written translation by a collector.
