Gurttrommel MG34/42 Basket Carrier Ordnance Tan

Nice late war ordnance tan painted German gurttrommel machine gun basket carrier. Both baskets originally finished in grey and then overpainted in tan as per regulations in 1943. Carrier is Tan with traces of red primer under the paint. Carrier is marked WA43 and the baskets are marked hqu43 and ddf. Both baskets lock in place correctly as they should. The locking lid is missing its felt pads on the top. A very nice wartime set, not often found in original paint.
