German Three Tone Normandy M42 Helmet Named
Original “Normandy Camouflage” Three tone M42 helmet complete with liner and chinstrap. Helmet has original greeny grey painted underneath with the three tone over the top, tan as a base colour with green and brown patterns. All three split pins are original to the helmet. Liner inside has heavy wear, with damage to one or two of the leather flaps. The chinstrap is a late war period item which has unfortunately snapped. A faint patch number and shell number can be seen with the name Königsmann in the neck of the shell. A really beautiful helmet, absolutely textbook example, the photos do not do the helmet enough justice, look overly professional worn by the Army, SS and Luftwaffe throughout the campaign.
