German Army Single Decal M40 Helmet

Original German army single decal M40 Helmet made by Quist (64) batch number 1381. Original paint on the shell both inside and out, touch ups evidently made on the split pins, this is often seen as the highest points on the helmet had the paint wear first. A good 75%+ of the decal remains in place including the illusive swastika. Shell is fitted with its original liner which bares the name ‘Fiveith’ in green pen. Aluminium loops for the chinstrap remain present with the helmet. Some light surface rust on the helmet, notably on the crown and on the rim. Overall a really nice helmet that displays fantastically.
