Large Photograph & Documents Colonel Hans Lorenzen

Large photograph (21x14.5cm) and documents to German army colonel Hans Lorenzen. Documents included are his Reich teaching qualification in Physical education dated 1938 and a typed document outlining his employment as a physical education teacher at the Friedrich Wilhelm Gymnasium in Cottbus. Born in 1896 Lorenzen saw service in both wars, earning the iron cross first and second class with repeater on both awards, infantry assault badge in silver, war merit cross, eastern front medal, Hindenburg medal, long service medal (civil via education) and Austrian service award. It’s likely he went on to receive even more awards however we can only go off of what he wears in the photo.
