WW1 Medal Pair & Grouping 5751 CPL.W.A.SCHIMMIN. 24-LOND.R. “The Queens Regiment”

Original pair of medals named to Corporal William Alfred Schimmin who served with the 2nd Battalion 24th London Regiment (The Queens Regiment). Medals nicely named to the 24th Ldn Regt rather than Queens Regt. Complete with ribbons. Also included is his matching silver wound badge, issued 1916. Issue number 160968. His Cap badge, bi metal with long slider, sweet heart badge pin made from a button and a pewter ring displaying the text “Armentiere 1914-1916”. A town occupied by the allied forces. A great grouping.
