German Army Wehrpass Obergefreiter Rudolf Jaǔtzke Czech National Demjansk & Norway

Original German Army Wehrpass issued to Obergefreiter Rudolf Jaǔtzke born 19.11.1900. He served from 1941 with many Infantry units on the eastern front but notably was at Demjansk and was evacuated to Norway to continue duties on coastal defence until the capitulation. He completed training with the Gewehr 98 rifle and also trained on the 150cm Flakscheinwerfer spotlight. He received the Ostfront medal for continued service, noted in the Wehrpass. Several stamps inside also show that this Wehrpass ended up in his hands personally and refused him repatriation to the Czech republic after the war. Certainly a Wehrpass worthy of more research. It’s also worth noting the main book has come away from the cover.
