German Luftwaffe Wehrpass Obergefreiter Kurt Brodzik (Telegraphist & Signaller) Killed in Action June 1943

Original Luftwaffe Wehrpass issued to Obergefreiter Kurt Brodzik, born 27.04.1908. Beginning in August 1939, Brodzik served with Telegraphenbaukompanie Stargard/P and first saw service during the invasion of Poland and the and France before being transferred into LN.Regt.14 where he would see a support role during the Battle of Britain before being transferred to the balkans, Bulgaria and then to Krim in Russia. During service in Russia Brodzik was killed in action (02.06.1943). He was awarded the black wound badge in June 1942 for which the superb looking citation is included. A death notice is also present, outlining some of his service.
