German Army/ Waffen SS Feldgrau Toque or Kopfschützer Dated 1944

Original late war feldgrau toque as used by German army and Waffen SS troops in cold weather. Worn over the head and neck, these garments proved to be very good wind breakers as well as insulators to the users. This example is worn, with some holes in areas. A nice worn example with the remains of a manufacturer stamp, faintly marked 44 for the production year.
