Original German army ID disc issued to a soldier of 3rd Kompanie Jäger Ersatz Battalion 26 who were a replacement unit subordinate to the 30th Infantry Division who operated during the Invasion of Poland and France. They would later be involved in Operation Barbarossa, fighting in the Demyansk & Courland Pockets.
