Congo Crisis Belgian Army Camouflage Smock & Trousers
Original 1950s period Belgian army camouflage jacket and trousers as worn by troops in the Congo Crisis. Jacket is dated 1956 with factory label. No label present in the trousers. Both garments have been well worn. All zips, buttons and pop studs in place as they should be. Flap on the smock remains present, unusual as many were cut off. Trousers have an adjustable waist with a draw string. Both jacket and trousers to fit about a medium sized man. A nice original set relating to an important part of history during the 20th century.
