German Sanitater Hilfer Recognition Bib

Original WW2 German Army or Airforce Sanitater recognition bib made of white cotton. Superb four peice design all machine sewn together. Complete with shoulder straps and draw string to tighten at the waist. An iconic peice of equipment, worn by medics in front line service in aid to quickly identify help and ensure that they were visible on a battlefield as well as visible to their opponents to avoid being fired upon. This example has got some staining but no visible damage or repairs.
