German Army M40 Helmet (Ground Found)

Original German army early war M40 Helmet, found in the East with very well preserved paint. This helmet has been found deep in water, somewhere completely away from the air to avoid oxidation. A really solid shell, still complete with the brass split pins! Batch number/ factory details cannot be read in the neck of the lid.
