Original German army Wehrpass attributed to Obergefreiter Georg Tripp. Served with several units, notably Inf.Ers.Batl.15, J.R.583, Marsch.Btl.290 and later Div.Füs.Btl.131.
Trained on several weapons including an Artillery training course. RAD service noted before joining the army. Killed in action 11.1.1944 in Yjarlowo Russia. Included with his Wehrpass is a photograph of his grave. No research done on any of his units so certainly one worthy of more investigation.
