Private Purchase Peküro Artillery Enlisted Man’s Service Cap

Original German army pre war produced Peküro Artillery NCO visor cap. High quality piece made by Peküro, probably only second to Erel in terms of quality. Nickel plated insignia present with early cockade. Cap is without moth nips and complete with its original chinstrap. Slight damage to the celluloid inside the cap. Evidently the cap has seen extensive service with sweat marks present on the sweatband. Original lining in place. Under the sweatband an illegible unit stamp is present. Under the sweatband the cap is packed with newspaper to help shape, this paper dates to 1934. A really nice pre war cap, likely for best dress of a senior NCO.
