Handwritten Letter From Paula Hitler to Ulrich Graf With Photo
Original hand written letter from Paula Hitler, the infamous sister of Adolf Hitler to Ulrich Graf. The letter, dated January 1931 is also with a signed photograph of Paula with her dog Astra. A truly one of a kind item, a full translation from archives is included. This grouping consists of two signatures of Paula Hitler who very rarely signed any document without using her cover name “Wolf” (a nickname that Adolf gave his sister). The recipient of the letter is Ulrich Graf, a former body guard of Hitler from the early period of the National Socialists. Graf has often been referred to as “the man who saved Hitler” who recieved five wounds at the Munich Putsch of 1923 which were aimed for Hitler. He dived over Hitler to protect him receiving these wounds giving him his nickname. Paula Hitler knew Graf from the early days of the parties formation and kept in contact throughout the 1930s. It is likely this letter was kept as a token of Paula and Ulrich’s friendship. A very rare piece, one of a kind in every way. We have done our best to photograph these two items however for any enquires please contact us.
