German Army Transport Officer Feldblouse

Original WW2 German army officer Feld blouse for the rank of Oberleutnant. Several loops on the chest for awards period applied shoulder boards and what appears to be a period applied eagle, however we believe one of the collar tabs has been resewn. Whilst they remain an exact pair, at one point it appears one had been removed and resewn not so straight. This jacket has evidently been used as an “everyday” garment with extensive wear and soiling. Most notably on the elbows, where repairs have been made. Quite a lot of sweat marks remain around the neck and pits as expected. Entire top half of the jacket including shoulders have been padded by the tailor to make it a better fit. Inside on the lining the stitch work evident has been done by a highly skilled tailor. No labels or names remain in the jacket.
