Third Reich German Fireman’s Helmet with Neck Flap

Original Third Reich fireman’s helmet complete with neck strap. Helmet in good condition with almost all of its original finish. Interestingly fitted with seven instead of four rivets like the M34 helmets. A variant like this we have not yet seen, possibly an experimental variant? Only a partial liner remains. Pad present as well as the chinstrap. Slight stiffening to the flap where it has laid flat for so long however some leather softener may help this. No markings present that I can see.
