Pre War German Telephone Pole/ Tree Climbing Apparatus Kücke & Co Wuppertal

Original pre war 1930s German foot apparatus as worn to climb telephone posts and trees. This pair are produced by Wehrmacht contract Kücke & Co of Wuppertal. A small metalworks factory in the Wuppertal region. This particular example comes complete with its leather adjustable straps that went over the boots. Both leather straps are in very good shape without any dryness or stiffening. No repairs or damage. A really nice set in good condition. Both pieces are maker marked on the leather ankle support. These are the pre war type, wartime made examples have been known to be dated and WaA coded. It’s very hard to say whether these are a military used set, however these are the exact same type used by the army by an original army contract.
