War Merit Cross First Class Boxed

Original Merit Cross First Class complete in the box of issue. Award has been worn with visual signs of wear. Hardware of the reverse of the award is correct for the medal without any signs of repair or replacement parts. The box is somewhat tatty, with some of the cloth splitting at the point of opening the box however once the lid is lifted it displays well and holds its own. A nice piece that over the years certainly was worn proudly over an extensive period of time.
