German Army Soldbuch Grenadier Franz Hermmanns Gr.E.Btl.468 Nijmegen & Ruhr Pocket

Original German army Soldbuch to Grenadier Franz Hermmanns of Grenadier Ersatz Battalion 468 attached to the 363 Volks Grenadier Division. Hermmanns Unit served in the Netherlands suffering heavy casualties at Nijmegen. After the unit was refitted the division fought around the Roer river before being destroyed at the Ruhr pocket in April 1945.

Soldbuch in good overall condition with clear readable entries. He was attached to Grenadier Btl 468 and it’s also noted Infantry Nachrichten Ersatz Kompanie 467. Unfortunately the photograph in the book is missing. Despite this, a nice Soldbuch for western front service in the Netherlands.
