German Kriegsmarine Radio Operators Gas Mask Set Named

Original German Navy gas mask with outlet for communications equipment. Mask, filter and tin all named to “Beick”. 1937 dated mask with 42 lenses. Right cheek fitted with the outlet which can be unscrewed to fit radio equipment. FE41 filter present. One of the straps has Beicks Feldpost number present. Clearly beginning M for marine. Tin is in period “ship grey” paint with spare lenses (lense compartment marked M for marine with marine eagle) cleaning cloth, metal can spring and straps present. Whilst straps are present, the leather has snapped and the belt hook is broken. Despite this a difficult to obtain mask, which has been together since the war without any alterations.
