Original German army Soldbuch issued to Obergefreiter Bernhard Baese who served as an infantryman attached to Infantry Ersatz Battalion 122. His service took him across Romania, southern Russia, Sevastopol and finally south west Italy. Included with his Soldbuch is his leather wallet with many other documents including a sheet with his divisional motto, a leaflet for soldiers explaining how to deal with suspicious civilians and other bits including pictures and ration documents. A nice wholesome piece.
