German 1st Type “Afrika” Camel Hair Cufftitle

Original unissued German 1st type “Afrika” cufftitle manufactured of camel hair. A very nice quality piece which early on had to be earned to be worn on the uniform unlike the later bevo “Afrikakorps” title which was worn as part of the uniform. The cuff title depicts the Afrika lettering embroidered between two palm trees with white stripes above neatly and tightly machined sewn to the edge of the title. The cuff title has some light staining due to storage however on the whole in good condition. Each end of the title also has remains of blue tack where it had once been displayed, this could easily be removed if required. Total length of the title is approximately 18 and 3/4 inch or 58cm.
