Luftwaffe Feldwebel Pilots Tuchrock Jacket Glider Pilot Proficiency Patch

Original Luftwaffe Tuchrock jacket for a Feldwebel with the glider pilots Proficiency patch in bullion. As a tailored uniform for best wear, this NCO has selected the finest quality garbadine with wire bullion insignia and silvered tresse. The outside of the jacket shows signs of wear however remains almost immaculate without repairs. One very small moth nip has been spotted where the buttons do up. Loops for several awards are present, notably the loops on the right breast for either the Spanish Cross or German Cross. The NCOs name is present on the inside pocket of the jacket, the label dates the tuchrock to 1938. The inside features an internal waist belt and superb quality artificial silk lining which in areas has been padded. All insignia is original to this jacket and it has never been molested. A perfect example of a flight crew tuchrock impossible to upgrade. A truly beautifully tailored garment.
